Welcome

I am here to share my journey of learning with you.
A journey, filled with inquiries, wonderings, tensions and celebrations.
That's what learning is all about.

Inquiring Into Our Learning

I have created this site to enable teachers, students and parents participate in a collaborative learning journey of wonderings, questions, discussions and celebrations. My page will contain my student's ideas, their thinking, reflections, actions and work.
In addition you will have an opportunity to get to know me, as I will be sharing my experiences, practices and reflections too.
As an elementary teacher, IB PYP workshop leader and school visitor my major focus is inquiry teaching and learning. How can we use this approach to make learning more meaningful, relevant and authentic for our students? What learning engagements do you use to promote students understandings of concepts, acquisition of knowledge and development of life long skills?
Would you like to be a part of this collaborative network of people sharing the same beliefs and practices?
Well then, welcome to my page.

  1. That's great andrea. It's entirely based on student centered teaching approach and imparting lifelong skills in students. I like your style, wish it can be used to higher grades.

  2. There is nothing better than sharing our experiences with each other as both teachers and learners. I would indeed love to be part of sharing my ideas and thoughts about how to enable students to be life long learners.
Thanks for sharing your ideas and thoughts with us.

  3. Thanks you guys. I feel so pleased with myself for doing this. Sam, you can use this and do all this with older students you know. Let's keep this going I think we're the pioneers at AISL. What a great way to share and learn from each other.

  4. What a perfect way to share experiences and learn from each others experiences. Would be nice if everyone at school had an introduction to doing this. I'm sure there would be great enthusiasm from many teachers. Great job!
